Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Developed
jointly with Restaurant Chef Victor Casanova and Culina
General Manager Sandro Coppola, this partnership will
bring one of the best and exclusive Extra Virgin Olive
Oils to the tables of Culina, Modern Italian.
Culina showcases the intersection of traditional and
modern Italian cuisine with a menu guided by exceptional
ingredients. With a stunning new outdoor-indoor design
that melds simplicity with elegance, Culina will feature
wine tasting tables crafted from a 200 year-old magnolia
tree, two lounges, a private room and a spacious outdoor
patio to showcase Los Angeles’ alfresco style.
With its understated elegance, Culina provides a destination
at once cultured and of-the-moment, where local fashionistas
and international visitors can wine, dine, see and be
seen over some of Los Angeles’ best Italian food.
Monini has created a Special Selection DOP (Denomination
of Protected Origin) Umbria Extra Virgin Olive Oil for
Culina. This rich, but gentle and rounded oil has been
personally selected by the Monini family from the very
best olives of the Umbria region. Carefully selected
and picked by hand, the Moraiolo, Leccino and Pendolino
olive varieties have been pressed in Monini’s
“frantoio” and bottled at the premises.
The entire process is controlled by Monini, guaranteeing
the freshness and integrity of the product.
The end result is an extra virgin olive oil with extremely
low acidity (below 0.3% free oleic acid), a high content
of polyphenols, and a smooth and balanced taste profile.
The Special Selection DOP Umbria for Culina will be
used to finish dishes, dress salads, and will also be
available for purchase to the CULINA food lovers and
customers.
